Pet Boarding

Boarding at the Santa Barbara Humane Society is discounted for our members. Membership costs $25 per household and is good for 12 months.

Pet Boarding

One of the many perks of membership, the Santa Barbara Humane Society offers affordable boarding for your dog and cat in our safe and comfortable facility. We have a staff member on the premises 24/7, including on weekends, and our caring staff is there to make sure that your pet has a comfortable stay. We house dogs and cats in separate facilities, and they each have a kennel to themselves, with both an inside and an outside section.

In order to make sure that every pet has a safe vacation, we ask that you please review our downloadable boarding policy, which also has more information about our facilities and what to bring when you drop off your pet. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call us at (805) 964-4777.

To make a reservation, call us at (805) 964-4777 between 10 am and 5 pm, Monday through Saturday.

It's Flu Season!

All dogs boarding with us must be vaccinated against the dog flu.

The vaccination requires one round of the vaccine, then a booster shot 3 weeks later.

The booster shot needs to be done at least a week in advance of the boarding reservation. In total, the process needs to begin at least one month prior to boarding, so we highly encourage boarders to plan in advance.
